Obituary of Kenneth L. Garcia

Kenneth L. Garcia, of Lakeside, California, passed away on June 19, 2021 at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California. He was born on June 1, 1953 in Youngstown, Ohio to Angela Garcia, and graduated from Boardman High School in 1971. He then moved to Mansfield, Ohio where he served as Regional Vice President of Coca Cola Bottling Company. After moving to San Diego in 2002, he worked as a manager for Lowe’s and Big Lots.

Throughout his life, Ken was an amazing provider for his family. His proudest moments have been spent celebrating his daughter and son, grandkids, and their achievements. He enjoyed sunsets at the beach with his PIA, quick trips out of town with his brother, and showing his sweet side to his mother. He was a lifelong lover of spooky movies, any gadget he could find, and food!

He is survived by his mother (Angela Garcia), his brother (Gary Garcia), his daughter (Angela Garcia), his son (Joseph and Darcy Garcia), his grandson (Seth and Elyse Garcia), his two granddaughters Adeli and Amare Garcia, and his life partner Vickie Cole. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Kevin Garcia.
