DAVID
AFFECTIONATELY, KNOWN AS “COOKIE”
Yes ,to say you will be missed, is an understatement. Although we, didn’t know each other as long as ,I would have liked to
Does not mean, you where definitely a kind and gentle sole. You where someone you could count on, when you needed .
I believe you deserve , no less than a FIVE STAR rating, for humanity and caring and kindness. This ones for you !

David will be missed so much! Kevin and I truly enjoyed our times with him over the past 28 years. David was the one who got me my job at Home Depot and I am still working there! He even bought my Lexus SUV from me! When Kevin and David were together there was always something to laugh about. He brought out the best in everyone! The Photo that is posted is from September. The three of us had lunch at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. Our condolences to his family! Sandy

If the measure of a life is in what one leaves behind, you can see from these comments how fully Dave lived. My strongest memories of Dave are threefold: First, he introduced me to and encouraged me to climb Half Dome, a hike that I had to train for, and to this day it remains one of the highlights of my life. (Dave even lent me his tent, which I made sure to meticulously re-fold because Dave was, you know, Felix Unger.) The second is, of course, our shenanigans on Cape Cod, involving Lighting Bug Glow Juice and turning on every accessory in the car when Uncle Mac went in to run an errand. And the third is a hazy trip we took to New Orleans, where we discovered Go Cups and sat a few feet from Ella Fitzgerald as she scatted and sang. I will miss you, my friend, but I won’t forget you. Peace.

My best friend and my best man. Possibly the most organized person on this planet, David was forever attempting to instill calm and order in an orbit of crazy and free spirited childhood friends. He was truly one in a million, always his own person, never afraid of a challenge. I’ll really miss him, after all, who else is going to remind me to brush my teeth! RIP buddy.

Our Fearless Leader. As a founding member, David rarely missed a Donate-A-Pack Fnd event and I don't think he ever missed a Board Meeting. He drug Sean along to many a fundraising and work party event from the time he was just a tike. We all knew how important Sean was to him and how much he loved him, and the rest of his family. Passionate to the "T," or "P" as it is. Many a youth in the woods had the right gear and a better experience because of David's work and prodding of others.

RIP Brother Dave, you were the best brother and friend a guy could ever hope to have. And I know you know YKM! right now!
Call Ripley’s...you had that one last oyster you swore you’d never have! It was one more memorable day we had out of a lifetime of memorable days and adventures.
I will never forget those days and you and I look forward to retelling "David Stories" to all our friends and family forever.
Love n’ Stuff,
Brother Rick
