Charlotte Ann Marcello

April 19, 1956 to July 7, 2021

Charlotte Ann Marcello passed away peacefully on July 7, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. Her long-time friend, John Smith was by her side. Charlotte was 65.

Charlotte was born in San Diego, California, on April 19, 1956, to Raymond John and Bertha Gloria Marcello. Charlotte was the second to the youngest of four daughters and is preceded in death by her parents and nephew Jeremy Raymond Davis.

The Marcello family life was joyful, with music, fun and incredible, creative Birthday Parties. Charlotte could never forget her Carnival Birthday Party which took up the entire back and front yards of the Marcello home. She maintained her love for music throughout her life and during her more leisure time was invited to sing at various night clubs throughout San Diego, Palm Springs, and Las Vegas. After graduation from Helix High School, La Mesa, CA, Charlotte spent thirty years of her adult life employed as a Professional Hair Stylist.  She then decided to return to Grossmont Community College for a Career Transition and studied Business Administration course work. She emerged from Grossmont and returned to the workforce as an Administrative Assistant for Industry. Charlotte attended The Foothills Church, in El Cajon.

Charlotte is survived by her sisters, Nancy M. Davis, Susan F. Corrao of San Diego and Judy L. Flory from Beaumont, CA; Nephews, Scott Davis, of Clearfield, Utah and John Corrao of Santee, CA; Niece, Kristin Mitikas, of La Mesa, four great-Nieces and Nephews; her loving Cousins and Life-long friends, John Smith, Eddie and Susie Tucker, also of La Mesa, CA.  

Life will never be the same without Charlotte and she will be sorely missed. She was a beautiful woman with a quick smile for all who loved her. Charlotte gave her very best in life and was ready to go home with her Lord and Savior.

Graveside Services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, San Diego, CA on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 am.
