My deepest condolences to the entire family. Bella welcomed me into her home for a few holidays when I lived in San Diego and couldn’t make it home to New York. She was a beautiful spirit and a fabulous cook. I was blessed to have the honor to meet Bella and enjoy my friendship with Jimmy. God bless

Bella was my first friend when I came to San Diego In 1975. She gave me the most precious gift - she shared her family with me and embraced me as family for 45 years. She epitomized kindness and generosity. Boy could she cook! We had many many many many years as Charger fans together and had so much fun in the early years when her children were young and we would drag them to the stadium. Decades of love and good memories. My dear Izzy, I miss you! Rest in peace big sis! I love you Marianna and Chrissy.

Thank you for sharing a beautiful tribute to your Mother on her birthday.
On behalf of my family, our most cherished memories are celebrating Fourth of July at the Bahia on Mission Bay. Year after year, our families shared food, spirits and shenanigans. Rest Well My Dear Friend Bella. I Loved You.

Bella was the heart of our firm as she always made sure that we were well cared for: it was like have a big sister watching after you. I knew her as a client, employee and most importantly as a friend. When my wife was in Mercy Hospital for cancer surgery, I visited Bella who was also being treated there. She was not well but was more upset about my wife's plight than hers. That was Bella.
When I left the firm for a Judgeship in 1983, Bella made a ton of canoli for me to take to court. I know how much she was appreciated by Local 481 as was the case from anyone who took the time to get to know her.
May she gain peace she deserves.
Please let me when the celebration of life is held

It would have been your 74th birthday today, Mamma. I am grateful for all you sacrificed for me my entire life, and for teaching me everything I know about kindness, gratitude, faith, tenacity, humility, resilience, an unimpeachable work ethic, and unconditional love. What I wouldn’t give to be having brunch with you today in your honor and to see your beautiful smile and hug you tight one more time. Please give Jimmy a big hug, too. Isabella Virgilio, you are my hero!
